Big Bear Donair operates in Whitehorse. Its facility has become too small and the client sought to build a larger facility as there is no more room for expansion. The property for the new facility is comprised of 3 connected parcels of land. The first phase was to build a +/-16,000sf commercial building that will accommodate: a restaurant, an express Liquor Store that will serve the off-hours clientele, and a full offering Liquor Store accessible.

TAD completed the Functional Program comprised of the following: define spaces, dimensions, requirements.

TAD reviewed the site characteristics that lead the design team to Architectural Schematic Design sketches and developed two options that were presented to the client.

Phase 1 of this project has been completed and currently Phase 2: Design Development and Construction Documentation are in process.
