Shaw Communications Inc. is a diversified Canadian communications company whose core business consists in providing broadband cable television, High-Speed Internet, digital phone services, telecommunications services (through Shaw Business Solutions) and satellite direct-to-home services (through Shaw Direct) to 3.2-million customers.

TAD has been commissioned to relocate Shaw’s Montreal call centre from its present location to a new larger building, but substantial work is needed to bring this new building up to Shaw’s high-quality standards. Thanks to its experience with the Design-Build methodology, and a close collaboration with Pan American Construction, its sister-company, TAD is able to offer their clients comprehensive solutions, covering all their needs, from design to the completion of the build and the fitting out of new spaces.
The case at hand requires that Montreal’s unique vibe be transposed to the work environment at Shaw Communications.

The goal is to conceptualize and design a grown-up space enlivened by the addition of accent elements, like the proposed dynamic and colourful fresco exemplifying Montreal’s vivacious and diverse make-up. This large-scale work of art would be visible from the street, adding to the building’s distinctiveness and contributing a welcome splash of colour to the neighbourhood.
