Panorama Lounge - IMPROVEMENT

Via Rail mandated TAD for conducting a preliminary study on improving the Panorama Lougnes of Montreal and Ottawa’s train stations. Observations, site surveys and needs analysis were done in order to propose solutions and establish a budget for improving the aesthetism and functionality of the space.

Two proposals and their budgets were presented. The first iconsited of a basic aesthetic improvements including the replacement or improvement of the existing finishes and furniture while the second included a complete renewal of the design.

Following the budget approval, TAD udertook the task to propose a new layout and design for the Panorama Lounge of the Montreal Central Station. Two layout plans including selection of new finishes and a new lighting plan were prepared.

Discussions are underway at Via Rail in regard to the completion of the project.
