New offices

Visa Desjardins' proceeded to house its expanding sales force in 2003 in the retail street level podium of a large multi-use complex. The 2,200 square foot space was parcelled off and completely renovated to provide for closed offices and boardroom, employees' facilities and open office area for half a dozen staff.

The challenge was to provide visual access to the exterior for the occupants working behind the spaces lining the streetfront wndows. A glazed partition with a sandblasted silhouette of the North Shore Mountains provided both a view to the outside and the necessary privacy for the work being conducted.

In order to keep cost to a minimum, we undertook an extensive survey of mechanical and electrical components to be reused in an as is condition and supplement the additional elements to insure occupants safety and comfort.
