TAD was hired in 2011 for a roof repairs project in a government building located in downtown Montreal. The roof in question had deteriorated over the years and extended accumulations of water (due to non-compliance of the roof slopes) were increasingly observed. On the roof, a hut had been built several years ago to condemn a skylight. This cabin also showed signs of deterioration and water infiltrations were detected under its roof.

Following a site visit, TAD has produced an analytical report with three proposals for remedial works. The chosen proposal was to repair the part of the roof located on the 3rd floor of the building and removing the cabin and closing the hole it covered. The plans and specifications were produced.

The project is currently in the bidding period. Construction is scheduled for May 2012.
