Relocation of the head office of this 3 billion dollars health and beauty products distribution company to a new building.

KTH was called upon as consultant for the design of the base building and as designer of the interior layout of the building. J.R. Thibodeau is then head of the Construction Documentation and Administration Team.

A unique concept was developed for the design of the new office layout in direct response to the client’s management habits. As a result, the traditional method was inversed by locating the executives at the centre of the floor plate (with skylights). This allowed for the managers to be close to senior executives on one side and to the support staff on the other side, and it also provided maximum natural light to the employees who are at their desks all day.
