CAE-Air Canada YVR Flight Training Centre

Located at Air Canada’s Vancouver Base, this 5,000 square foot building accommodates CAE’s new flight training simulator and training facility. This new building is attached to an existing Training Centre by a two storey bridge.

Some of the challenges included rigorous environmental requirements, weak soil conditions with a variable water table and a very tight project schedule.

JRTAD acted as Architect of Record in collaboration with RRA. JRTAD’s responsibilities included insuring regulatory approval, code compliance, consultant coordination, construction documentation review, and construction administration.
