BELL MOBILITY CALL CENTRE

Broadway Tech Center, Vancouver (BC)

The Bell Mobility Call Centre is located on the upper level of a two storey building, part of the Broadway Tech Centre in Vancouver. Undertaken in 2 phases, the 50,000 square foot space contains 350 work stations, 3 conference rooms, 3 Multi-Media Training Rooms, rest areas, eating areas and a cafe.

This building used to house the Eaton’s warehouse and the conversion included punching opening windows and skylights to provide fresh air cross-ventilation and enhanced day lighting.

Our mission was to create a dynamic, efficient and enjoyable space, while maximizing the potential use of the existing floor area. This was done by addressing different aspects of the project with the same thematic concept in mind: Movement!

Special care was given to the integration of furniture, finishes, paint, signs and artifacts to a positive result, beyond expectations of the client.

We developed an artifacting concept using wood mannequins hanging from the ceiling and walls in various activities. Other features include a high-end Café Atrium complete with skylights, water feature, gas fireplace and lounge-type seating.
