  DESIGN-BUILD

Design-Build, is a turnkey solution to deliver projects efficiently. Its main objective is to simplify the design and construction process in order to lower the consultants and project management costs and reduce the delays. Design-Build unifies the design team and the construction team under one single entity, Pan American Construction, thus reducing the number of intervening parties in order to reduce costs and risks and to maintain a tight schedule.

Pan American Construction provides Project and Construction Management services to undertake corporate interiors and retail stores for national companies all across Canada, primarily in British Colombia, Quebec, Ontario and Alberta.

Scope of work quite often extends beyond standard interiors fit-out to include special artifacting and scenic work requiring special lighting and audio-visual equipments. Even if required work exceeds its general expertise, the company will partner with one of its collaborators to provide the high standards of service it strives to provide its clientele.

Pan Amercian Construction was incorporated in September 28th 1954 by Mr. Thomas James Northcutt and Max Michael (Hardy) Silberman. Jean J.Thibodeau, Architect graduated from McGill University in 1932, became a shareholder and Officer of the company the following year. The company’s focus was primarily developing residential projects in the Montreal Area. Since 1985, the second generation is lead by J.Robert Thibodeau, graduated from McGill in 1976, son of Jean J. who has moved the company in providing Design-Build services as a natural extension of the architectural practice of J.Robert Thibodeau Architecture + Design Inc.
